TankTastic is an IoT start-up, formed in 2018 and based in south-west London. We are looking for a fantastic software engineer to work from home or from our office in Wandsworth, south-west London.

We have developed a unique and cost effective method of measuring the amount of contents in containers: e.g. gas in cylinders, beer in barrels. This enables us to deploy our technology as an IoT device in vast numbers.

We have secured funding and are working with a global gas distributor to bring our technology from prototype to market.

Job description

We are seeking a Golang engineer to work with our Co-Founder and CTO to help build out the back-end of our innovative software platform. This will include ensuring data is captured from our IoT devices, correctly processed and then securely expose actionable insights via REST APIs.

The successful candidate will also work closely with our IoT software/hardware engineers and help ensure high availability of our back-end infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or similar disciplines
• Strong development skills with Golang, ideally 2y+
• Linux - Debian or Ubuntu preferred
